This has all the flavors of a real pineapple upside down cake! It is sweet, tastes like a dessert, and perfect for parties. It can also be served as a martini or on the rocks with a pineapple wedge garnish!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

  • 2 oz. Vanilla Vodka, chilled

  • 2 oz. Pineapple juice

  • 1/2 barspoon Amaretto

  • 1/4 oz. Real Grenadine

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

Add the vodka, pineapple juice and amaretto to a shaker tin. Add ice, shake until chilled, then fine strain into a chilled shot glass. Slowly pour the grenadine along the edge of the glass - it will settle to the bottom. Garnish with a cherry.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Shooter

This recipe makes two shots! Serve as cold as possible, I put the shot glasses in the freezer before making.

Hi, I'm Scott Gardner, your mindful mixologist. While I am not a professional bartender, I have made well over two hundred different and unique cocktails, and invented over fifteen original drinks, including my famous European Vacation, Muzetta's Waltz, and The Cherry Bella, all of which can be found in my book, Lock it, Flip it, Kick it & Shake!

Besides shaking, stirring, and sipping, I also enjoy golfing, reading, and writing. My wife and I both love animals and we have recently gotten into birding, which is a fun and rewarding hobby. And our favorite birds... The Philadelphia Eagles, of course! Go Birds!
